Mr. Carter was a retired Insurance Adjuster for Allstate. He loved his family and going on vacations with them. He enjoyed car racing and going to antique car shows.
Orville was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Smith; his parents, Gordon Felix and Ruby Johnson Carter; siblings, Pauline Morrison, Walter Carter, Bea Graves, and Christine Watts.
Surviving is his loving and devoted wife, Ann Johnston Carter; son, Marty (Barbara) Carter; son-in-Law, Johnny Smith; grandchildren, Wesley (Stephanie) Carter, Madison Carter, and Johnathan Smith; sister, Doris (Ferrell) Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020, at 10:00 am in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, Alabama.
