Patricia devoted much of her life to being a homemaker and raising her family. To her daughter, Theresa, she was more than a mother – she was a best friend throughout her childhood, leaving her with memories she will always treasure.
Patricia loved shopping and camping, especially trips to Gatlinburg. She also, had a special place in her heart for dogs, particularly her beloved Yorkies, and usually had at least two by her side.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Odom; her father, Dennis Phillips; and her brother, Lawrence Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Messer (Steve); her son, John David “Davey” Chambliss, Jr.; three granddaughters, Kayla Stanley (Tyler), Kaydie Messer, and Kenadi Messer; three great grandchildren, Ryker Stanley, Grady Stanley, and Tilly Stanley.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571, on October 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, AL 36571, on October 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
