Mr. Paul Eugene Coursey, age 61, of Chickasaw, entered into Heaven, Sunday, March 20, 2016. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Oak Grove Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Interment will follow at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilmer, AL. Rev. Steve Perry will officiate.
Mr. Coursey was born December 2, 1954, in Mishawaka, IN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vada Tolbert Coursey and step-mother, Louise Hartley Coursey.
He is survived by his beloved son, Adam Coursey and his mother, Yadira Coursey Cholar; his father, Virgil Coursey, Sr. of Eight Mile, three siblings, Linda Coursey Gutermuth of Chickasaw, Sharon Coursey (Phillip) O’Gwynn of Foley, and Virgil Coursey, Jr. of Prairieville, LA; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
