Paul Wesley “Winford” Edmond – a native of Waynesboro, MS and resident of Axis, AL died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in a local health care facility. He retired with Gene Stokley at J&J Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John Erving and Pauline Edmond; and brother, Thomas Elvin Edmond. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Faggard Edmond; two sons, Paul Edmond, Jr. and William Edmond; two daughters, Brenda Till and Gwendolyn Hernandez; three brothers, Hubert Edmond, Sr, Kenneth Edmond and Lonnie Edmond; three sisters, Sharon Tomlin, Pat Sasser and Nelda McCarter; nine grandchildren, Maranda, Jessica, Shane, April, Seth , Amber, Hannah, Shauna and Alynna; seven great-grandchildren, Cameron, Trevor, Matty, Brady, Teriana, Matthew and Alexis; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
