Peggy Joyce Litton

Adored and loved by many in Creola, she was known as “Aunt Peggy”, she had a kind and loving heart and warm smile for everyone she met. She saw the best in everyone. She was the world’s best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Thomas Litton; her parents, James Houston and Pearl Jordon Bennett, and five siblings.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Jerry Lewis (Sandra), Kimberly Hammac and Samuel Thomas Litton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jerry Lewis (Kayla), Dylan Hammac, Jordan Hammac, Branndon Hammac, Anna Katherine Lewis and Summar Hammac; great great-grandchildren, Hayden Rushing, Damon Hammac and Emily Claire Lewis; a brother, Houston Leon Bennett; special niece, Kelly Massingill; step-daughter, Sherri Yawn and two step-grandchildren; also, survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and many friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Litton will be held at Radney Funeral Home – Saraland on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in Creola Cemetery, Creola, Alabama.
