Philip Stephen Summerlin - a 63 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Chickasaw passed away Friday, September 30, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Maverick Summerlin. Mr. Summerlin is survived by his mother, Ann Mary Crockett Summerlin; sister, Susan Riordan (Barry); brothers, Terry Summerlin (Pat) and Bill Summerlin (Lynnette); nieces and nephes, David Riordan (Heidi), Stephen Riordan, Adam Summerlin (Mackenzie), Mark Summerlin (Mary-Blake), David Summerlin (Thanh), and Jessica Valerio (Fercho). Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, October 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or the National Parkinson Foundation.
