Richard Berry Weatherby

Richard Berry Weatherby, age 57, longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 13, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Carver Jordan and Betty R. Jordan and grandmother, Ada Robbins. Mr. Weatherby served his community for over 15 years as a police officer and a drug enforcement officer. He was the owner of A & A Investigations and A & A Screening Solutions. He was a member of Lafitte Church and loved managing and coaching his youngest son Garrett in youth baseball. He loved snow skiing, hunting and was an avid Alabama football fan. Rick is survived by his wife, Cherie A. Weatherby, sons Jason Berry Weatherby (Danielle), Josh Steven Weatherby (Shara), Garrett Carver Weatherby, brother Chip Jordan (Patti), sister Judy Henson and his three grandchildren Braxton Jordan , Brendyn Chase and Andrew Carver Weatherby. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Saraland on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Lafitte Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
