Rick was born on December 3, 1962, in Mobile, Alabama, to Aaron and Jean Singley. He attended Satsuma High School - Class of 1981.
For more than 30 years, Rick worked as a pipe welder, a career that reflected his strong work ethic, dedication, and pride in providing for his family. He was known for being dependable, hardworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Rick found joy in the simple things in life. He loved all kinds of fishing, deer hunting, gardening, and planting flowers and trees. He could often be found ordering something new from Amazon and eagerly waiting for it to arrive. Above all else, Rick loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and pride.
Those who knew Rick will remember his great personality, quick sense of humor, and the way he showed up for the people he loved without hesitation. Whether family or friend, he was always willing to help when needed and never hesitated to put others before himself.
Rick is survived by his sister, Connie Singley; his son, Blake (Lacey) Singley; his daughter, Courtney (Davin) Tucker; his beloved grandchildren, Willa, Vanna, and Vivi Singley, and Kaison, Chase, and Brady Tucker; and Yvette Singley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Jean Singley, and his brother, Mike Singley.
Rick’s memory will live on through the family he loved so deeply the lessons he taught through his actions, and the countless memories shared by those fortunate enough to know him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Wednesday June 10, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Creola Cemetery, Creola, Alabama.
