Robert (Bobby) Edison Walker - was born in 1947 and died peacefully in the presence of his family on April 7, 2025, at the age of 77. Bobby grew up in Chickasaw, Alabama with his mother Eula Graham, and step-father, Howard E. Graham. Later, as a teen, Bobby moved to Magnolia Springs, Alabama to live with his grandmother and to attend high school in Foley, Alabama.
Bobby graduated Foley High School in 1965 and dated Belinda Middleton before entering the armed forces. From 1967-1969, Bobby served the Army as a Sergeant E5 on the "Big Guns" as he called them in the Vietnam War. Upon return from service, Bobby immediately married the love of his life, Belinda. The two of them resided in Saraland for 51 years. Bobby worked for Mobile Gas Company for 40 of those years. The two of them purchased a secondary home in Orange Beach and spent many summers and weekends with their two sons, Bryan and Brad, swimming, fishing, and boating at the beach. Later in life, they traded the Orange Beach home for a motorhome from which they camped across the United States. Many weekends were spent at local campgrounds with their grandchildren, building memories.
Bobby and Belinda were attending Moffett Road Baptist Church when they dedicated their lives to the Lord. Bobby's brother, Bo, was ecstatic to celebrate this new life with them. Bobby and Belinda are currently members of Wilson Avenue Baptist Church. Bobby had a love for fishing, hunting, CB radios, and Alabama football (Roll Tide). He was a kind and caring person who had a playful sense of humor, loved to tease everyone, and never met a stranger. Bobby was truly loved by everyone in his life.
