Robert Eugene Bunch Sr.

Mr. Robert Eugene Bunch, Sr., age 78, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford R. and Velma T. Bunch and brother, Henry Bunch. Mr. Bunch was a Purchasing Agent with International Paper Company, retiring after 40 years of service. He was past President of the Mobile Purchasing Agent’s Association, a member of the Past Time Cruisers Car Club, and an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast. He was a member of Montrose Baptist Church and attended Christ United Methodist Church. Mr. Bunch is survived by his wife of 55 years, Annette Green Bunch, children, Robert E. Bunch, Jr., and Michelle Bunch Bentley (David). He is also survived by his sisters, Cathy Lofton and Ann Doggett, and five grandchildren, Robert E. Bunch, III “Trey”, Anna Marie Bentley, Ella Bentley, Taylor Mims and Travis Mims. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23 2015 at Christ United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Celeste Rd., Saraland, AL. Serving as pallbearers will be Devon Jones, Ernest Sikes, Hollis Davis, Spencer Adams, Greg Green, Ralph Green, Jr. and honorary pallbearers, Richard Twilley, John Holland and Jim Crocker.
