Robert Steve Byrd, born in Brewton on March 6,1944, departed this life on Friday, November 16, 2018. He was a City of Mobile employee for the Public Works Department for 30 years.

He is preceded in death by father and mother, 2 son; Richard Melvin Byrd and Gary Steve Byrd. Five brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife Linda Byrd,, daughter Cynthia Marie (Rickey) White, son Michael Allen Byrd, grandchildren Jason, Brandy and "Lil Rick", four great grandchildren and a very special neice, JoAnn Allibritton and many other family members and friends. And Lacy, his little dog of 13 years that was always by his side.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 from 10;00 am until 11:00 am then will process to Serenity Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Please share condolences at www.radneyfuneralhomesaraland.com
