Robert Augusta McCrory, age 79, a resident of Satsuma, Alabama, was called to his Heavenly home on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was born November 2, 1942, in Lake, Mississippi, to the late James Daniel and Margaret Opal Ware McCrory.
Robert will be remembered as a loving husband, father, paw paw, and great-paw paw. He served this grateful nation by enlisting with the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Robert loved to spend time with his family, being in the woods, riding four-wheelers, and dancing. He was known for always helping anyone in need, no matter the day or time. Robert had an infectious smile and a playful personality. He always enjoyed pulling pranks on everyone that crossed his path. Robert felt a stranger was simply a friend he hadn't met yet! He loved living life to the fullest and loved everyone in it.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife of forty-six years, Linda Harbin McCrory.
Left to share Robert's wonderful memories will be his five beautiful daughters: Danya (Michael) Ardis, Stephanie (Scott) Motes, Shannon (Scott) Ryals, Robbin (Bo) Lumpkin, Shelley (Bradley) Churchwell; one brother, Jimmy (Judy) McCrory; one sister, Sadie (Bill) Barnes; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; extended family; and many wonderful friends.
