Robby was born on November 27, 1960 to James Edward Calloway and Virginia Cecelia Wassman Calloway and was the oldest of three children.
He worked many different jobs as a young man, but driving a truck over the road was what he loved and did that for many years. The most important thing to him was spoiling his grandbabies and boy did he... there will never be another PopPop quite like him.
Robby is preceded in death by his parents James E and Virginia C. Calloway.
He is survived by his best friend of 42 years Janet Powell; son, Danny Calloway (Amanda); daughter, Katie Calloway; grandchildren, Lydia Calloway, Cullen Calloway, and Natalee Calloway; sister, Renee Parker (Ryan); brother, Ricky Calloway; a special niece, Madyson Kofonis, lovingly known to him as MadDog; many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.
We have so many wonderful memories tucked safely in our hearts and know, no matter where we are we will never be apart.

A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. A visitation will occur on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, Eight Mile, AL.
