Roger Wayne Nichols

Mr. Roger Wayne Nichols, age 70, resident of Saraland, AL, passed away at his home on Friday, January 27, 2017. Mr. Nichols is preceded in death by his parents, Ulman and Vera Nichols and brother, Jerry Nichols. Mr. Nichols served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, retiring after twenty years of service. Mr. Nichols also retired from the United Postal Service as a mail handler in 2004. He was a member of the Patriot Guard and enjoyed motorcycles and antique cars. He was a man who loved his family and his country. Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Sharon Nichols, daughters, Tammy Deese (Brian), Tonja Hutcherson (Steve), son, Mark Cook (Erin) and brother, Mike Nichols (Betty). He is also survived by his six grandchildren; Brandon Cook, Nicholas Hutcherson, Sidney Laing (Josh), Carley Hutcherson, Colby Deese and Rylee Cook. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland.
