Roy Franklin Adams

Roy F. Adams, age 84, passed away peacefully at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama surrounded by his loving family on Friday October 6, 2017. He was born on June 27, 1933 in Covington County, Alabama to Isaac and Blanche (Simmons) Adams. He is preceded in death by his first wife Geraldine (Anderson) Adams, his son Danny Adams his granddaughter Denita Hyde, his sisters Melbalene (Troy Lee) Douberley and Elna (Bonds) Looney, He is survived by his wife Edna Adams of Saraland, Alabama, two daughters Sharon (Geoff) Bloom, Debbie (Tony) Ory, one son Chris (Michelle) Adams, 3 stepchildren Debra Morris Hall, Jeffrey Morris, Allen Morris, one brother Waylon (Elaine) Adams and one sister Lucille (Jessie) Wiggins, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew, family and friends. Roy worked at International Paper Company for 50 years as a machinist. "Pop" known to his family loved hunting and his hunting dogs Sport and Mike. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at Radney Funeral Homes 1200 Industrial Parkway Saraland, Alabama. Burial will follow at Forrest Lawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Radney Funeral Homes in Saraland, Alabama on Monday October 9th from 11:30am until the time of service.
