Ruby "Jeanette" Kline Moon

Ruby “Jeanette” Kline Moon – passed away at her home on March 20, 2013. She was born on April 7, 1925 in Malvern, AR. She was a resident of Saraland, AL. She was a former member of Shiloh Baptist Church and an active member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred S. and Jessie Mae Kline; her stepmother, Ida Pearl Kline; and her husband of 62 years, John “Tootem” Moon. Mrs. Moon was also preceded in death by many other relatives and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Jerry) Flummer, Anniston, AL, and Karen (Brooks) Pearce, Saraland, AL; her grandchildren, Jon (Becky) Flummer, San Antonio, TX, Matt (Celeste) Flummer, Tallahassee, FL, and Ashley Pearce, Saraland, AL; her great-grandchildren, Bethany, Zac, and Jackson Flummer, San Antonio, TX and Cannan, Story, and Ever Flummer, Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by many special and loving friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL, with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. until service time. The service will be officiated by Dr. Bill Whitfield. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, AL. The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and caregivers of Springhill Hospice for their loving care given to mother during her illness.
