Ruth K. Hartley – born June 17, 1925 in Andalusia, AL and resident of Mobile, AL died Sunday, December 29, 2013 in a local health care facility. She was beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Hartley was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Satsuma and a former school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Hartley, Sr. She is survived by four children, Larry (Helen) Hartley, Cindy Bedsole, Charlie (Donald) Lister and Laurie (Tommy) Knowles; one sister, Gladys Knowles; seven cherished grandchildren, Dr. Lawrence (Dr. Rhonda) Bedsole, Chad Hartley, Dr. Belinda (Robert) Marrero, Carrie (Eric) Mondello, Terri (Chris) Chechele, Tim (Debbie) Smith and Tony Smith; ten cherished great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Graveside services will beTuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Creola Cemetery with Rev. Otis Lister officiating. Pallbearers are Dr. Lawrence Bedsole, Chad Hartley, Robert Marrero, Tim Smith, Tony Smith and Doug Capps.
