Sherwood "Butch" Gleason- Born November 3, 1951, in Edwards, CA, and a resident of Loxley, AL, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. Butch was a well respected member of the automobile industry for over 40 years. He was a member of the Howard Lodge #69 F & AM. Butch was a fanatic about movies and was always the life of any party. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all, he will be greatly missed. Butch was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Patricia Sealy. Survivors include his wife, Terry Gleason; his son, Sean (Fallon) Gleason; his daughter, Heather Gleason; his mother, Doris "Dottie" Bennett; his sister, Barbara Farrin; two step-children, Trey (Tracy) Evans and Jessica Evans; two grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter; other relatives and many dear friends. A celebration of life service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
