Shirley Dean Fowler Walters, age 59, passed away peacefully in her home on September 10, 2019. She was born on November 22, 1959 in Chatom, Alabama. She married the love of her life Enoch Paul Walters and they enjoyed 23 beautiful years together before he preceded her in death on March 3, 1999. Also preceding her in death, her parents Julian and Willow Fowler, her brother Julian Fowler Jr, and sister Kate Jenkins.
Shirley loved all of her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and was very proud to be a MeMaw. She was a great cook and devoted daughter of Christ.
Shirley is survived by her two sons, Paul Walters, wife Laura and grandsons Hunter, Corbin, Brantley, and Maverick; Steven Walters and wife Jennifer and granddaughters Raegan and Remi. She is also survived by her brothers James Fowler, and Wayne Fowler, and sister Katherine Parker and husband Louie; sister-in-law and dear friend Judy Shirey and many nieces and nephews .
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL. on Saturday September 14, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Service to follow in Chapel at 10am. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 23220 Pine Grove Church Road, Perdido, Alabama 36562.
