Sidney Joseph Egloff, Jr.

Sidney Joseph Egloff, Jr., age 82, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at a local hospital. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Foster of Satsuma; a sister, Joan (Dale) Waring of Nacogdoches, TX; four grandchildren, Bryan (Lindsey) Cunningham, Jamie (Adam) Manning, Jason (Nancy) Cunningham, and Becky (Jody) Holliman; and sixteen great-grandchildren, Cooper Cunningham, Summerlynn Manning, Thomas Manning, Jaxon Manning, Lily Cunningham, Sydney Cunningham, Macy Cunningham, Cole Cunningham, Jordan Hough, Elijah Hough, Andrew Hough, Alexia Hough, Haylee Hough, Michael Holliman, Blake Holliman, and Sydnie Holliman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Joseph Egloff, Sr. and Dixie Pierce Egloff Trick; his wife, Ruth Egloff, a brother, Joseph Eugene Egloff; and two sisters, Margaret Hinton and Joyce Jones. Mr. Egloff was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Calvary Temple Church. He was an oil field mechanics for Chevron Oil Company for over 30 years. The visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Steve Norman will officiate. Donations may be made to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Mr. Egloff’s honor.
