OBITUARY

Stephanie Lyn Fowler

December 20, 1969October 13, 2020

Stephanie Lyn Fowler, age 50, of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Stephanie was born December 20, 1969.

Stephanie was a bigger than life personality, who made everyone feel pretty, important and loved.. She believed in being present in the moment and enjoying life as it's happening. She would find beauty in everything around her and encouraged others to follow her. She was an amazing nurse who could heal things with her contagious laughter.

Stephanie loved to travel, especially to the mountains. She enjoyed Auburn football, making fun of Alabama football, painting, photography, family and good food. She believed in savoring every morsel of food. Her trips to the mountains were always a source of encouragement and creativity. Some of her fondest times where those spent with her nieces and nephews singing made up songs, telling corny jokes and just enjoying their time together.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her father Charles Terry Fowler, Mawmaw Lois J. Fowler. Survivors include her partner & soul mate Jami Garrick, mother Bernadine Fowler, sister Stacy (Murray) Colvett. Nephews; Lee (Ashleigh) Colvett, Payne (Britlynn) Colvett and Clayton (Kristen) Colvett. Along with many loving great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin St, Mobile, AL 36606 on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Steph,
I can’t believe your gone. Your one of the most beautiful people I have ever had the chance to know. Your laugh, your love for life, and glowing smile will be sadly missed. My grandkids remember you taking their pictures out in the country. They called you that funny lady. My heart goes out to Jami, your. Family, and the many peoples lives you have touched.

Steph..

My beautiful friend! I don’t even know where to begin and can’t believe you are gone.

Our friendship started many many years ago when I met Jami. You were so easy to love and easily loved those around you. I can’t thank you enough for coming into our lives as a friend. I believe you gave a glimpse of photography and art to Keag at a young age of 6yrs old. Just a little boy and he is now a man studying for an art degree of which you opened his eyes to. You called Keagan “Keagster” and he is saddened by your loss also. Thank you for loving and showing your passion of life to those that surrounded you.

You will be missed!

Man, was not expecting to see this when I just got home from work! I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie in the ICU at BAMC. Her smile was contagious and could always make laugh! She was a very caring nurse and great to work alongside. You will be truly missed my friend! 🙏

Stephanie you were so beautiful with such a caring, loving spirit. Your creative photography of my daughter as a newborn, adoption day, cake smash, bunny Easter fun, with our beloved pets, tea parties.....as I look at my pictures I remember your creative spirit, Jami as your assistant, and all the laughter. I cherish these memories and pray for all those you touched.

Stephanie had the most wonderful spirit. My greatest hope is that she is in heaven with Molly grilling a tri tip.. I still can’t believe she is gone. So much talent and love wrapped up in a beautiful package. Jami, I’m praying for you.
