
Thomas Donald "Tommy" Arnold - a 79 year-old native of Walker Springs, AL and longtime resident of Semmes passed away Monday, November 3, 2014. He retired from International Paper Company as a pulp mill operator after 48 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Armay, a member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church, and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing on Big Creek Lake. Mr. Arnold is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Ruth Walker Arnold; stepsons, Dr. Scott Massingill (Anne Marie) and Richard A. Massingill, Jr.; and grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, April, and Allen Massingill. The family would like to offer the staff members of Saad's Hospice a heartfelt thanks for all of their care and support.
A memorial service will be held from Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11:30 AM. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour. A reception will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kushla-Bethany Baptist Building Fund.
