Tommy attended the public schools of Mobile County and was a 1960 graduate of Murphy High School. Being the son of a WWII and Vietnam Merchant Marine, Tommy naturally found himself called to the service and spent four years in the United States Coast Guard. Tommy was an avid Mardi Gras participant and spent many years as an active member of two Mystic Societies.
On November 13, 2016, Tommy was born again as he surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. On December 24, 2016, Tommy peacefully departed this life, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. In his final hours, he was surrounded by all of his children as well as several grand and great-grandchildren, who in assurance of Tommy’s commitment to Christ commended him into the hand of the Savior.
