Timothy Glenn Pinkerton, age 55, of McIntosh, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Tim was born September 5, 1962 in Jackson, Alabama to Mildred "Mitt" Wright Pinkerton and Jerry Columbus "Buck" Pinkerton.

Tim is survived by his siblings, Jurlean Gilmore, Joseph Pinkerton, Elsie (Travis) Blakney, and Marilyn (Jerry) Gatwood; sister-in-law, Lori Pinkerton; numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved as if they were his children; and many relatives and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Columbus "Buck" Pinkerton and Mildred "Mitt" Wright Pinkerton; and brothers, Aubrey Pinkerton and Jerry Pinkerton.

Tim, or “Unc” as most referred to him, was a sweet soul who never met a stranger. The best examples of his character were how he loved unconditionally and his strong faith in God. Tim was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and he also enjoyed attending other churches within the community. If the doors were open, he was there. He was an avid can collector, Auburn fan, loved fishing, family and being in the country.

A visitation for Tim will occur Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 2009 Firetower Road, McIntosh, Alabama 36553. A funeral service will occur Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, 2009 Firetower Road, McIntosh, Alabama 36553.

I'm sorry to hear that Tim passed away. My deepest condolences for the family and prayers for peace and comfort to all who love Tim. I had fun dancing with him at Anna and Terry's wedding reception.
