Vivian Miller George

Mrs. Vivian Miller George, age 88, longtime resident of Georgetown, AL, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia T. Miller, son, Leslie Killam, former husband and father of her children, Robert Lee Killam and husband Ruben T. George. Mrs. George was a longtime member of Georgetown Methodist Church and most recently attended Stockton United Methodist Church. Her family will always remember her love for fishing and gardening and her enduring devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. George is survived by her daughters Patsy Waters (Oscar) of Stockton, AL, and Gail Postle (Bill) of Gulf Shores, AL. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Georgene Killam, Wilmer, AL, grandchildren, Randy Killam (Re’nee), Gwen Perkins, Cory Postle (Christy), Lori Hendrix (Mark), Rhonda Kernells, Lesley Waters, eleven (11) great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 10:00 until service time of 11:00 a.m. at Georgetown Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Stockton United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 7, Stockton, AL 36579.
