Walter Edward Nader

Walter Edward Nader, a 70 year old native of Calvert, AL, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home in Saraland, AL. Eddie worked for Scott Paper Company as a timber buyer. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Kay Nader of 50 years. His children Jennifer Dreaden (David), Stacie Knight (Thomas) and Walter Nader Jr. (Cynthia); grandchildren Elisabeth, Chase, Trey, Sidney and Sadie; great grandchildren Walter E Nader IV “Court”, Wylie and Lynlee. His loyal companion Louis, his dear sister in law LulaMae Allen and a devoted brother William Victor Nader.

Survivors also include many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved uncle Walter Zeno Smith and aunt Sadie Florence Ramey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Mount Vernon on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. followed by a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Catholic Church Cemetery.
