

Born on July 15, 1938, to Claude and Lois Ray, Walterine lived a life marked by perseverance, love, and devotion to those she held dear. Walterine was the definition of strength and determination. Independent and hardworking, she lived life on her own terms and never backed down from a challenge. Above all else, she loved her family fiercely. Nothing brought her more happiness than watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Walterine is survived by her devoted husband, Floyd Ralph Fagan; her children, Marilyn (Mike) Stringer and Ron Fagan; her grandchildren, Brandy (Cory) Robbins, Noah Stringer, and Courtney (Hunter) Hicks; her cherished great-grandchildren, Marley Robbins, Hudson Robbins, Riley Stringer, Kayli Stringer, Hollis Hicks, Landon Hicks, and Maggie Hicks; and her sister, Jeri (Dwight) Lingle. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Lois Ray, and her brother, Jack Ray.
Walterine’s strength, wisdom, and unconditional love created a legacy that will live on through the generations of family she cherished so deeply. Though her presence will be greatly missed, her family finds comfort in the countless memories they shared and in the lasting impact she made on all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on May 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend as they celebrate Walterine’s life and honor her memory.
Pallbearers will be Mike Stringer, Noah Stringer, Cory Robbins, Hudson Robbins, Hunter Hicks, and Pete Lingle.
She will be forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
