Wanda Lee Sanders Preston

Wanda Lee Sanders Preston - age 65, of Wilmer, AL, left this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was a member of Havenwood Baptist Church and will be remembered as a wonderful and loving mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Ray Preston; parents, Fred and Nell Sanders; son-in-law, Lavern Porter; and bother-in-law, David Rooney. She is survived by her children, Katie Lucas (Steve), Kenneth R. "Boots" Preston, Jr., and Jennifer Busby (Chris Jarvis; grandchildren, Joshua Porter, Amanda Jones (Tony), Cody Busby and Cory Busby; siblings, Nita Rooney, Jan Stinson (Bobby); Fred Sanders, Jr., Butch Sanders, and Ray Sanders; sisters-in-law, Joan Pugh, Charlotte Hannah, and Jackie Andrews (John); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 20, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in the Therrell Annex of Whistler Cemetery.
