

William Paul Elmore – age 35, departed this life on Tuesday morning, February 21, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Mobile County and was living in Saraland, Alabama. Paul graduated from Satsuma High School in 1995, was a captain of the Gators’ football team, and was named to the first team of the all-county football team. After graduation, he attended Faulkner State on a tennis scholarship where he became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Society. He also worked at the YMCA in Saraland as a personal trainer and conducted fitness classes. In 2006, he obtained his ADN from the University of Mobile and worked as an RN at Searcy Hospital. Currently, he was working for FedEx Home Delivery in Mobile. He is survived by his parents, Hugh and Donna Elmore of Saraland; sister and brother-in-law, Sunni and Josh Hendrix, and niece, Giselle Hendrix of Foley, AL; grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Gary S. Elmore of Semmes, AL; uncles, Steve Elmore of El Dorado, TX, Bryant Elmore of Mobile, and Gary Elmore, Jr. of Picayune, MS; aunt, Diana Anderson of Atmore, AL; cousins, Steven Elmore, Crystal Jolley, Melody Hilyer, Andy Anderson, and Travis and Regan Elmore. Paul was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. Peace is with him at last. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2012, from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. chapel memorial service.
