A native of Jenkins, KY and a resident of Chickasaw, AL, died Friday, September 17, 2010 in a local hospital. Mr. Litton was a 1959 graduate of Murphy High School where he was a running back on the football team. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from H. T. Hackney. He was a member of a mystic society for over 45 years, and an avid golfer and Alabama football fan. Mr. Litton is survived by his wife, Ramon Wright Litton; three daughters, Lisa (DeWayne) Sutherlin, Jennifer (Blayde) Gardner, and Megan (Will) Goodwin; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, William, and Sarah Sutherlin, Laura Johnson, Fox Gardner, and Ashlynn Goodwin; one great-grandson, Fisher Phillips; and numerous family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, September 20, 2010 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
