William Edward Patton

William Edward Patton – loving husband, father, and grandfather, an 84 year-old native of Purvis, MS and longtime resident of Saraland, AL passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was a member of Redemption Church and an avid Alabama fan.

Mr. Patton was preceded in death by his parents, William Everett Patton and Charlott Patton; siblings, Tommy Patton, Troy Patton, and Grace Dillard; and beloved wife of 43 years, Frances Kay Patton. He is survived by his children, Shannon Patton (Pam), Mellissa Fleming, and Brandon Patton; grandchildren, Lani, Lyndsey, Josh, Ryan, Robert, and Michael; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
