William "Karo" Carey Walker, Sr., age 73, of Creola, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Karo was born July 19, 1945 in Clarke County, Alabama to Madeline Campbell Walker and Jimmie Walker.
Karo is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie Sue Freeman Walker; children, Stephanie Michelle Walker, Tiffany Suzanne West, and William Carey (Melissa) Walker, Jr.; sister, Patsy Edwards; grandchildren, Courtney Mosley, Cheyenne West, Kelsey Outlaw, Karolina Walker, Presley Walker, and Madalynn Walker; great-grandchild, Rowan Mosley; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Karo was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Walker and Madeline Campbell Walker; one brother; and three sisters.
Karo was a graduate of Satsuma High School Class of 1963 and was the owner of Walker's Country Store, Karo's, and Walker's Crew Change Service.
A visitation for Karo will occur Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A funeral service will occur Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama 36571. Rev. Jerry Presnall will officiate.
