Willie Grace Wood Stewart

Willie Grace Stewart went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Mrs. Stewart was born on May 14, 1927 in Tylertown, Mississippi. She was a resident of Satsuma, Alabama. She was a Christian and a member of Chickasaw First Baptist Church for 65 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband William F. "Bill" Stewart, Jr., her parents John Morgan Wood and Mabel Crawford Wood, her son-in-law, Jack Etheridge, brothers, John Daniel Wood and Bobby Joe Wood.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Stewart Etheridge, her 3 sons, William (Robin) Stewart, Michael (Joni) Stewart, Richard (Jeanine) Stewart. Her grandchildren: Jonathan Etheridge, Stephen Etheridge, Will (Kendal) Stewart, Emily (Will) Keeney, Tyler Stewart, Jessica (Joel) Petry, Katie Stewart, Tanner Tolbert, Ethan Tolbert. A sister, Blanch Long, brother, William (Esther) Wood, Sister-in-law, Barbara Wood. Three Great grandchildren, Abigail Stewart, Harris Keeney and Ella Petry. Services will be performed by Rev. Bob Barr and Dr. Ed Litton.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Jonathan Etheridge, Stephen Etheridge, Will Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Tanner Tolbert, Ethan Tolbert, Will Keeney, Joel Petry and Chris Stringfellow.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 at First Baptist North Mobile in Saraland, Alabama. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery following the service.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was affectionately known as "Bambi" to her grandchildren and to all of her family and friends. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
