Willie Joseph Wainwright

Mr. Willie Joseph Wainwright, age 64, native of Foley, AL and resident of Wilmer, AL passed away at his home on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie W. Wainwright. Mr. Wainwright was a longtime employee of the City of Mobile, City of Dothan and City of Ozark in the Waste Water Management Division. He had been employed with Martin Transport as a truck driver for approximately 15 years. He enjoyed shrimping, boating and fishing. Mr. Wainwright is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rhonda Rigby Wainwright, mother, Nellie Elizabeth Wainwright and children, Ellery Wainwright (Erin), Kristan Pritchett (Dennis) and Jesse Wainwright (Christy). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anna, Elizabeth and Justin Wainwright, Julia, Mattie, Amelia and Casey Pritchett, Trevor, Trenton and Brianna Wainwright, and siblings, Dale Wainwright, Sharon Culpepper, Michael Wainwright and Larry Wainwright. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held in Valhalla Cemetery at 12 Noon.
