Mrs. Zula Elizabeth “Took” Skidmore, of Saraland, entered into rest Saturday, February 20, 2016, at her home. She was 88. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Rev. Charles Mitchell will officiate.
Mrs. Skidmore was preceded in death by her parents, Alonza Joshua Davis and Annie Diantha Davis, her husband of 61 years, C.W. “Bill” Skidmore, three brothers, and five sisters.
She is survived by her three children, Mary Arden (Bruce) Brown of Creola, Billy (Sheila) Skidmore, and Tammie (Ricky) Foster of Cullman, one sister, Sarah Burnett of Saraland, eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
