Albert is a Christian and devout believer in the written Word of God. A retired decorated NYC Police Officer and Academy instructor who served in the Vietnam War as a Special Forces Green Beret A-Team sergeant. Albert Geraldi’s whole life was devoted to the Martial Arts. He was a 9th Degree Black belt teacher in the Okinawan Martial Art and the founder of a martial art association Zenkokyu Ryukyu Kempo Karate-Do Renmei, Inc. having numerous high-ranking martial artists.
Albert is survived by his wife, Donna Mezzatesta Geraldi; his daughter Dawn Lucas (Gary); and his son Ian Geraldi; his sister Laura Duffy; his grandson Christopher Lucas and his niece Diedre Stone (Ben).
Albert was preceded in death by his father Salvatore Geraldi and his mother Lara Di Betta.
A visitation for Albert will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, followed by a reception at 2:30PM. Graveside service will occur Monday, April 24, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
