Born on July 30, 2007, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Andrew was the beloved son of Ehab and Heba Fahmy and the cherished brother of Christopher R. Fahmy.
Andrew was studying electrical engineering and worked at his family-owned engineering firm, EACH Engineering. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed bonfires, camping, hiking, cooking, diving, and, especially, riding motorcycles. Above all, Andrew treasured the time he spent with his younger brother, Christopher.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Adib Henry and Maged Darwish, and his grandmother, Fifi Ibrahim.
He is survived by his loving parents, Ehab and Heba Fahmy; his brother, Christopher R. Fahmy; his cousins, Jeffrey, Marc, Adam, Peter, Lucy , Maged, Hala, Amira, Sara, Aya, Gigi, Lolita, Ehab; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at St. Simon the Tanner Coptic Church, 3924 Meadow Creek Lane, Sarasota, FL 34233. Entombment will follow at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232, with a reception afterward.
