"We have lost a special guy. I am going to miss him terribly. He was so good to me. I was so proud of him—the great man he grew into." These loving words from his mother reflect the deep love and admiration so many felt for Brad.
A gifted athlete from an early age, Brad was an All-City basketball player who earned many awards. Naturally talented in many sports, he was admired for both his skill and his competitive spirit.
Brad dedicated his professional life to the trucking and transportation industry, where he enjoyed a successful career as a terminal manager for several companies. Respected and trusted by colleagues, he was known for his exceptional work ethic, often working 14-hour days and commuting one to two hours each way. His dedication, integrity, and leadership earned him the respect of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
After being diagnosed with ALS, Brad faced the disease with remarkable courage, grace, and dignity.
Brad was preceded in death by his father and his brother.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Janice Schwindt; his uncle, Don Dumford; his aunt, Wanda Goldey; his beloved feline companion, Clyde; and several cousins.
