Caitlyn Michele Roskovich

Caitlyn grew up in Sarasota and graduated from Riverview High School in 2007. She found her calling in emergency medical services and served her community as a Charge Paramedic with Manatee County EMS. Being a paramedic was much more than a career to Caitlyn—it was something she truly loved. She took great pride in helping others, particularly during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her commitment to serving others extended beyond her regular duties, and she frequently volunteered her time as a paramedic at community events.

Caitlyn cared deeply about causes that reflected both her profession and her compassion for others. She supported motorcycle helmet safety, breast cancer awareness, mental health awareness, and animal rescue.

Away from work, Caitlyn enjoyed crafting, spending time at the beach, shopping, and being with her beloved cat onyx. Above all, she treasured the people closest to her, especially her fiancé, JT Bacigalupi, with whom she shared her life and future plans.

Caitlyn is survived by her parents, Charles and Cynthia Roskovich; her fiancé, JT Bacigalupi; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Justine Roskovich; and her two nephews. She also leaves behind extended family, friends, coworkers, fellow first responders, and countless members of the community whose lives she touched through her years of service.

Caitlyn will be remembered for her dedication to helping others, her love for her family and those closest to her, her compassion for animals, and the pride she took in serving her community. Her life was one of service, and the impact she made on others will remain a meaningful part of her legacy.

Visitation will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, US, on August 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, US, on August 21, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

The family welcomes everyone to join them for a reception in the St. Armands Room immediately following the Celebration of Life Service and Burial.
