Uncle Carlo,
I love you so much.  You will be missed by many.  You were always so kind and loving.  I am grateful that I was able to speak with you last week.  I truly will miss you. Thank you for loving our family.  Thank you for all you have done for me, praying for me and with me when I asked.  I hope you will Rest In Peace.  Please let my grandparents and Michelle know I miss and love them.  Watch over us. Love Rob. 

While the sadness of Father's passing is overwhelming, the wonderful memories will be everlasting.  Knowing Father is on a quick path to Heaven is most comforting.  Father always had an engaging way about him that led him to have many friends who loved him deeply.  He had a sparkle in his eyes,  a lilt in his gait and a keen sense of humor in addition to his amazing priestly presence that attracted so many. 
I thank you Father for all the blessings that your presence and wise counsel have  brought to me and so many others.

We will never forget the generous gesture and kindness of Father Carl for us, when we started to make our home here, after emigrating from Venezuela. May the Lord keep him in the assembly of saints! 

Fr. Carl, was a gift that Our Lord in His wisdom and love give to all of us. A Holy Priest that always receive us with open arms and smile and Soul victim that through his sacrifice, penance, prayers and health issues offered up in reparation to God for salvation of souls, as he always said: is always good to share and carry our crosses with a smile and love to the one who gave everything for us. We’re going to miss you Fr. Carl but our Hearts are rejoicing in gratitude to Our Lord for your life, ministry and an a new intercesor in Heaven.

Father Carl, I remember your parents and others in their circle of friends and family who came from same part of Italy. I remember as a child, I am now 74, your parents, and others assembling at my maternal  grandparents home to play cards, make pasta, drink homemade wine, I remember the vegetable gardens, the exchanging of vegetables, they often travelled by bus to enjoy each other's company , they shared their happiness and sadness . My grandparents were the Cintioni's who  lived on Hamlet Street, Somerville, and the Antonchecchi's, Crescentini's, Lena and Adolpho Birarelli,and other couples who attended the get togethers, they found time to enjoy get togethers as they worked in mills and hotels and construction.   I remember the day your mother told my grandmothe rErsilia Cintion, , as by chance we were visiting your home in Everett, that you were entering the seminary how proud she was .

YOU HELPED OUR FAMILY WHEN WE LOST MICHELLE ..YOU WERE THERE FOR US..AND WHEN I LOST MOTHER YOU AGAIN WERE THERE FOR US...I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND KNOW YOU ARE AT PEACE..THE ANGELS JUST GOT A NEW ONE...SAY HELLO TO EVERYONE AND I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN I AM SURE....LOVE YOUR NEICE DONNA

We have known, and became dearest friends, of Fr. Carl since that first Sunday Mass in the Summer of 2004 at St, Joseph's Church when after Mass as we left the church we shook hands with him. He wouldn't let go of mine and started his typical, lively questions, "You're new aren't you?", "That accent. NYC? (no, Philadelphia)." It seems like we stood and chatted until the parking lot emptied. These past 16+ years have been so blessed by his presence in our lives . . . in all our lives!

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad. " Ps 118:24. One of Fr. Carl's favorite bible verses!

Father Carl was such a bright light in our lives ! He provided constant love and support to my whole family and when I would come to
Visit my Dad I would love to see him! He will be missed greatly !

Father Carl was an angel who was the sweetest man ever . He gave our family constant love and support throughout my mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s right through and after her demise .  He was my Dad’s best friend and I will miss him very much ! We love you Father Carl !

Fr. Carl was the dearest, sweetest most loving priest and man I’ve ever known. He was a gentle confessor. I loved his smile and the jaunty...energetic way he would run down the aisle at Our Lady of The Angels and his homelies were warm and comforting. He will be sorely missed in this world but I know God has welcomed him home with open arms. Rest in eternal peace Fr. Carl in arms of our Lord. With love and Thanksgiving, Carol Orlando

Fr. Carl was such a kind and gentle person . My dear Mother absolutely adored him and went to daily  mass at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs on a regular basis. He performed Funeral Masses for both of my parents and all of my family were so impressed with his kind, gentle way . When I would see him at another parish where he was helping out he always spoke to me about praying for my dear Mother. I have been thinking him a great deal lately and wanted to find out how he was doing. Now I know he is in Heaven with our Dear Lord and  reunited with my dear parents ! My thoughts and prayers are with his dear Family . God bless you  all, Florence Culler

Thank you for being the kind , gentle, thoughtful, and caring Uncle not
only to me but to all your nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews , and
all of the many family and friends who were blessed to know you. I will miss the
phone calls and your prayers in my life. You left us all with wonderful cherished
memory’s of yourself,  my Dad, my wonderful aunts Gilda and Nina and of course 
Nonna and Nonno as we all shared cherished memory’s of our family times together. We were all so proud of you. Nonna and Nonna treasured you. Thank you to all the kind and generous people in Sarasota who were also your family who were so devoted and dedicated to helping you. They were all gifts from God  Thank you for everything .You richened our lives and the world. I will miss you so much,  your loving niece Marianne.  


Father Carl became best friends to my father in law Lou Soscia after his wife Diana passed away. Father Carl truly became a member of the extended family. Lou would have daily mass with him, our family would see him and share mass with him when we visited in Florida and he would also share mass frequently with my brother in law    Bill Soscia. He was loved by our family and will be truly missed. I am truly grateful to have had you in our lives the last several years. Rest In Peace Father. 

Father Carl, was truly one of God’s angels sent from God who touched my Dad’s and our family’s life so much. He was such a good friend to my Dad and supported him after my Mom died. He exuded so much Love and grace and extended it to me, and my children and family . We will miss him so very much ! 

The most loving and caring man I ve ever known ,always thinking of others and doing what he  could for people
