

Carol Ann Roane (Lipp), 75, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, peacefully passed away on January 20th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. In the hearts of those who were privileged to know her, Carol was a pillar of strength, love, wisdom, and stood as a woman devoted to God.
Her love and commitment seamlessly intertwined with her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, reflecting devotion in every aspect of her life. A true culinary artist, Carol found immense joy in cooking for her family, infusing each meal with warmth and love. She poured joy into the lives of her precious grandsons, through crafts, books, and board games. Carol was an amazing friend who cultivated lasting relationships, some as far back as her early childhood. She dedicated over 25 years to Incarnation Catholic School, making significant contributions in childhood education and administration. Her commitment to family, friends and work was truly unwavering. She will be missed dearly by all and will be forever in our hearts.
Carol is survived by her beloved sons, Christopher “Chris” and Timothy “Tim” Roane; her three grandsons, Dylan, Cameron, and Rylan Roane; her brother, William “Bill” Lipp; her niece and nephew, and the rest of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bernice Lipp, and her cherished husband of 52 years, John Francis Roane, IV.
A funeral service will be held on February 8th, 2024, at Incarnation Catholic Church at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be mailed to Incarnation Catholic School in Carol’s memory. (2911 Bee Ridge Rd. Sarasota, Florida 34239)
