Carolyn was born in Darmstadt, Germany to Ludwig and Erna (Mayer) Neu. She graduated from Hyde Park High School and had a career as a small business owner.
Carolyn was predeceased in death by her parents, Ludwig and Erna (Mayer) Neu and her brother Henry Neu, and her husbands, Rudolf Linz and Meyer Kaplan.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Barbara Henry (Neil), Wendy Schloss (Jeffery), and Lester Linz (Kathi), her grandchildren Marc Henry, Elysa Henry, Adam Schloss, Rani Schloss, and Angela Linz, and great-grandchildren Joshua Henry, Lily Henry, Meredith Henry, Kali Timmis, and Karlee Timmis.
A graveside service will be held at Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery, located at 801 Circus Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34232, United States. The service is scheduled for October 13, 2025, at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
