Catherine was born to H. William & Helen Hepburn. She graduated from Notre Dame HS in 1962; Helene Fuld School of Nursing in 1965 and Wake Tech Community College in 1977. Catherine started her career as a Registered Nurse. She was active with Our Lady of the Angels church, serving as Eucharistic Minister and on the Women’s Guild. She was also a past volunteer & ardent supporter of Cat Depot; was physically active; and loved to travel.
Catherine is predeceased by her parents; and is survived by her daughter, Christina Damiano; grandchildren, Adam & Matthew Jumba; siblings, Jean Sterne & Ellen Hepburn; nieces, nephew, grand nieces, grandnephew, and cousins; and special friend, Dale McCall.
A funeral mass will begin at 10 am on Thursday, August 8, 2018 at Our Lady of the Angels, with a reception to follow, 12905 E. State Rd 70, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cat Depot, 2542 17th St., Sarasota, FL 34234.
