

Cesar was born on November 3, 1945, in Manati, Puerto Rico, to Dolores and Blanca Pinzon. He attended the Chicago Police Academy and Northwestern University.
He served in the U.S. Army for over 30 years, and worked for Chicago Police Department for over 25 years.
He was an active member of the Veteran’s Council, the Knights of Columbus, and the VFW. Cesar had a variety of interests, including coin collecting, baseball, and football, and loved to dance. He was a man of great humor, warmth, and patriotism who deeply loved his family and embraced life with enthusiasm.
Cesar was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Joseph and Hector.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Cesar (Michelle), Joseph (Cody), Gina (Tim), Monica (Michael), and Michael (Carly); and grandchildren, Joey, Katie, Traci, Emmy, Morgan, Madison, Jordan, Gavin, Bella, & Gianni.
A visitation for Cesar will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 7900 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34241. A committal service and military honors will occur Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
