Chrystal was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia on March 20, 1934. She graduated from Kingsway College and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hinsdale College. She married John E. Graw, Jr., on December 27, 1956.
Chrystal worked in Nursing at Hinsdale Hospital and Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Morristown Seventh-Day Adventist Church as well as the Sarasota Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Chrystal had a passion for spending time with her family, drawing, painting, sewing, bird watching, gardening, golfing, baking, and going to the beach.
Chrystal was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Graw, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Julie Holmberg, Jennifer Lucas (Rob), Katie Stillwell (Eric), son Michael Graw (Sarah), grandchildren John, Andy, Matt, Megan, Alexis, Steven, Hannah, Nathan, Rebecca, and Caleb, great-grandchildren Nicholas, Aubree, and Reznor, brother Terry Heisleer (Lorene), and sisters-in-law, Marilyn, Carolyn, and Jacklyn.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 6 p.m. on March 21, 2026, at Morristown Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
