Heartbroken to hear. Connie was one of my most influential teacher at Wagar High in Montreal, teaching Drama and directing us in the several school plays. I had such admiration (ok, crush?) for her. She was so sweet that she even eventual relented and went on a "date" with me. We went to see a matinee viewing of the incredible Italian film, "Cinema Paridiso". She even handed me $20 so that *I* could pay for the tickets, because "that's how you treat a lady". It was really so very sweet, I'll never forget, or her.  Even after I had graduated, Connie continued to give me advice and guidance that I still take heart to this day.  A lovely soul. RIP Connie.

She was loved by her many friends, colleagues and hundreds of students she taught over the years. She will remain forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all who cherished her.
