Emmy and family.  I was shocked to hear of David's passing.  He was a wonderful man and always there for everybody.  Donald and I both loved you guys.  Peace be with you.

What Grace. What Dignity. What Fun. What an Extraordinary Man. Everyone David met was touched by him in some way.
What an Encomium to a man's life to be so universally appreciated, loved and respected.  He will be sorely missed.

We feel very fortunate to have had our lives cross David's path. His quick wit, fun loving nature,generosity and kindness drew us to him immediately. David always found the positive in any situation. He was truly an extraordinary man! He will live on forever through the many loving and warm memories he has left behind with his family and many friends.

Whenever we were with David and Emmy, we enjoyed their "joie de vivre", their kindness, caring and friendship. I remember how he tried to show us how to play the new Lawn Games at UPCC. We laughed so much and he was so patient.

David will be greatly missed by Council 13341 Saints Cosmas and Damian. He was an enthusiastic cheer leader in every project he undertook. He and Emmy were the finest Helping Life couple the council has had. I loved working with him at Ed Smith Stadium. Stephen is wearing the Braves shirt that David gave him in David's memory. His passing leaves a hole that will be very difficult if not impossible to fill.

David was a wonderful friend and he will be missed a great deal. He was always so positive and quick to play a joke and make you smile. We'll miss him at Trivia and bridge but they will always remind us of him. Our thoughts are with Emmy, his family, and friends.

David was a good friend at Knights who actually got me to join the Council.  He was always a gentleman and a force of goodwill in the parish.  I will miss him.

One of my best memories was a surprise girl's  trip to Disney to celebrate a special birthday for Emmy, another was box seats at the horse races; still another was an evening at Cirque de Soleil.....what wonderful times with two dear friends!! I have great memories of your parents' visits to the University of Dayton -- your Dad always was such a happy, joking, jovial guy who obviously loved seeing you in your element at school and enjoyed hanging out with the guys!

Dave was a great mentor, friend and confidant. I count him really high on my top people list at Chevy. He was one of my favorite people not only at Chevrolet but in all of humanity as well.

David was a fine gentleman. I enjoyed working with him as a cashier at the concession stand at Ed Smith Stadium with other brother knights and Encore members. I am sorry I cannot be there to celebrate his life. RIP David.

In life you meet very few people (if any) that at the mention of their name bring such positive thoughts. David Walsh was one of the rare ones. He made everyone feel welcome and important. Heaven's gain is our great loss. Our winter neighborhood in Notting Hill will never be the same without him. May God bless Emmy and all those he loved so dearly.

What a wonderful father, husband and friend  David was.  His faith-filled spirit of optimism was such an example to us.  Emmy is the perfect match for the wonderful couple who shared their spirituality and love to all who knew them.  He shall be greatly missed by the many friends who benefited from his generous spirit. David and Emmy made it a point to get to know us when we were newcomers at church.  It made us feel so welcome. He will be missed by all.  We'll continue to pray for the family and especially Emmy during this difficult time.

Although we knew David only for two years, we only have fond memories. He and Emmy were the first to welcome us to the Neighborhood, when we moved to Notting Hill. We still appreciate the warm reception we received. It made us feel at home right away. We also will miss the men's lunches with him and the dedication he showed for our subdivision. The Notting Hill Welcomebacker Golf-Dinner Event is legendary and a highlight of the year. This will always be connected with David, no matter who is taking over now. He will be dearly missed. 
And to Emmy: May your memories bring you comfort. He was a wonderful person.
