We can truly understand your sorrow, as we too have recently lost a loved one.. our oldest son Weston K. Marquette was lost to Cancer just a few days prior to David's passing.  Weston passed away on December 6th, 1010.  My wife, Weston's younger brother Taylor and I are still struggling with our loss of Weston, but with God's grace we will get through these difficult times. What a shocking news that I found out from Face book that David's passes.

Knowing Dave, for over 30 years, was a great privilege. He was one of the rare persons, who caused those he met, to feel better about themselves.  He was a man who loved and was committed to his family, a man of integrity and depth. All those who visited Dave’s home knew the meaning of the word, hospitality. He was a committed Christian. Professionally, he was the most respected Realtor and Real Estate Brokerage Trainer, by his colleagues, of anyone I have ever heard of.  His depth of knowledge in his chosen profession was such that a great body of knowledge died with him. He will be deeply missed. May he dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I am very sorry to hear of David's passing. He was my mentor and a friend in need. I credit David with everything I ever learned in real estate sales.   Like many others that David touched, my life was changed for the better after I meet him in 1983. A great person that is always remembered.

Probably one of David York's last emails was to me on 10 December, concerning the Caufield's house on 2229 Cork Oak st.  We only emailed and phoned.  Had not yet met. Already we were friends and neighbors! Instant trust and respect radiated !  Strength and courage to the family.

 We found out from the newspaper that David York (the Peppermint guy) had died, which was a shock.   We have know him for about 10 years.  He was a wonderful man, an angel,  very giving and kind, always with a smile on his face and laugh.  The world has lost a great man.
