Debbie Ann Magiera, 60, of Sarasota, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Manatee Memorial Hospital, due to surgical complications; surrounded by her fiancé Robert; niece, Kathleen; ex-husband, Daniel; and many other close friends.
She was born to Carol Marie Magiera and the late Ronald Joseph Magiera in Wyandotte, Michigan, and lived down river in Ecorse, Michigan. Debbie was one of eight children; she had four sisters and three brothers. Debbie is best known for her kind heart and home cooking, she was always there for everyone. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She will be missed greatly. May she bask in the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her father; brothers, Ronald Joseph Magiera and Frank William Magiera.
She is survived by her fiancé, Robert Allen Sjoerdsma; sisters, Constance Salinas, Paula Smith, Roxanne Magiera, Kimberly Sullivan; brother, Richard Magiera; mother, Carol Marie Magiera; step-sons, Michael and Ryan.
Debbie and Robert recently announced their engagement with plans to marry on Friday, September 22, 2017; her untimely passing was a shock for us all.
