Debbie was a very loving and giving person. She did what she could for whomever was in need in her world. She never wished harm on anyone. A descendant of the early pioneers of this area when cattle was driven down country "Cattleman Road" passed her house to the train at Bahia Vista and cattleman for shipping to markets. She is 5th generation from one of two men who started Friendship Baptist Church at Palmer Boulevard., which is 137 years old and is still going.
She married her childhood sweetheart 37 years ago. Neither one ever dated or even looked at anyone else. They were devoted to each other and when their son was born you always saw the three of them together. with her daughter-in-law and grandson her life was complete. It was a big family, mom, dad, sis, grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, by the dozens and they stayed close as always having big dinners on holidays and birthdays. This is the family comradery you read about, the same kind that made America strong.
Debbie has been a devoted employee of Sun Trust Bank for over 65 years. She will be missed but will live in our hearts until we meet again.
